Physical therapy in sport is a peer-reviewed journal for all those professionals working in the field of sports medicine. Working with patients who have limited use of their own bodies due to injury or disability, a physical therapist builds flexibility, strength, and spirit. As treatment continues, physical therapists document the patient’s progress, conduct periodic examinations, and modify treatments when necessary.
